The petitioners seek a direction on the District Magistrate and Collector, Purba Medinipur to consider and dispose of representation made by the petitioners on 18th January, 2022. The representation relates to removal of a construction made by the private respondents on the government land situated infront of the petitioners' plot of land.

The State and the private respondents are represented.

W.P.A.3698 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the Sub-Divisional Officer, Haldia, Durgachak, Purba Medinipur being respondent no.3 to dispose of the representation of the petitioners within two weeks from today after hearing all concerned parties. The authority

shall pass a reasoned order and the copies of the same shall be made available to the parties within two weeks from the date on which such reasoned order is passed. It is made clear that the court has not gone into the merits of the case.
