This revisional application has been filed by the husband/petitioner for expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No.45 of 2014 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 1st Court at Barasat, District 24-Pargans (North). It is contended by the petitioner that the suit is at the stage of evidence. It is further submitted that no dues towards maintenance pendente lite are payable and the that the petitioner has been paying the monthly maintenance. It is also submitted that there are no interlocutory applications pending before the learned Court below.

This revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Court below to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.45 of 2014 without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties expeditiously preferably within a period of eight months from the next date fixed. This

order is only applicable if the petitioner is paying the monthly maintenance as directed by the learned Court below and no dues are payable. If there is any default in payment, the learned Court below shall act in accordance with law. The learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon the wife/opposite party as also her learned Advocate appearing in the learned Court below along with a server copy of this order within a week from date.

The revisional application is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
