Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submit that petitioners possession is being interfered at the behest of the private respondents and inspite of informing the police authorities, no action has been taken.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities on enquiry found that the land belongs to Public Works Department, as and when information was furnished police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of BNSS.

So far as the right, title, interest and possession is concerned police authorities would act on specific direction of the authorities.

However, the police authorities would keep a surveillance so that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incidents results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 3981 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
