Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is hardly any progress at the trial. The learned Advocate for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that there is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection dated March 2, 2021, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

However, we request the trial court to proceed with the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably fix consecutive dates for the purpose of recording evidence. The trial court is also requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties.

C.R.M. (DB) 613 of 2022 is dismissed.
