The matter has been taken up at the instance of the department.

It has pointed out that vide order dated 19th May, 2025, CRR 794 of 2025 and CRR 795 of 2025 were disposed of. However, the effective order was passed only in respect of CRR 795 of 2025.

The Court has perused the record. It seems to be an inadvertent error.

Let the modified order be read as follows:

"Affidavit of service has been filed. The opposite party has duly been served.

Let the same be taken on record.

The present petitions have been filed for expeditious disposal of A.C. Case no. 4761 of 2018 corresponding to T.R. No. 1026 of 2018 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and expeditious disposal of A.C. Case no. 4851 of 2018 corresponding to T.R.

No. 1045 of 2018 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, South 24 Parganas.

Since, the opposite party has chosen not to appear before this Court, let the Trial Court expedite the trial in A.C. Case no. 4761 of 2018 corresponding to T.R. no. 1026 of 2018 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and A.C. Case No. 4851 of 2018 corresponding to T.R. No. 1045 of 2018 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, in accordance with the law.

Learned Trial Court shall not grant any unnecessary adjournment to the parties.

The petitions stand disposed of."
