The grievance of the petitioner in the present two writ applications that the authorities have issued the work order to the petitioner and the petitioner has executed the work assigned to the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner has submitted the bill and part payment has been made and part payment is due. Subsequently, the petitioner has made several representations to the authorities but till date the authorities are not release the said amount.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner draws attention of this Court to the several orders passed by this Court wherein the authorities have taken time to take appropriate steps for release of the payment due but till date the payment has not been made.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the authorities are already taken steps and if sometime is

granted, the authorities will verify the bill and make the payment to the petitioner.

In view of submission made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, the writ petitions being WPA 3974 of 2024 and WPA 3979 of 2024 are disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 i.e. Secretary, Home (Police) Department, Government of West Bengal to consider the case of the petitioner and if the petitioner is entitled to get any dues, the same is released within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order.
