Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, detention of the petitioner is not required. Moreover, two other coaccused were granted bail by the jurisdictional Court. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and the statement of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that the nature of injury suffered is grievous, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. CRM (A) 1076 of 2022 is rejected (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
