Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was in probation for the period from December while the incident was October. The petitioner was falsely implicated. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary. He submits that loans were disbursed to fictitious persons. Loans were disbursed to persons who were long dead.

It appears from the materials made available in the case diary that the bank wrote to the Officer-in-Charge on June 21, 2021 that the loan documents were verified by the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in allowing the bank to disburse loan to fictitious persons, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.

C.R.M. (DB) 614 of 2022 is dismissed.
