Mr. Bhaskar Nandi ..for the petitioner Mr. Srijan Nayak Ms. Rituparna Maitra ..for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation before the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Howrah, respondent no. 4 way back on April 16, 2019 but such representation has not been considered by the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Howrah being the respondent no. 4 till date.

Mr. Nayak and Ms. Maitra learned Counsel appear for the State.

Heard both the parties.

As the representation made by the petitioner dated April 16, 2019 has not been considered till date, I request the Regional Transport Authority, Howrah being the respondent no. 2 in the instant application to consider the application of the petitioner within 12 (twelve) weeks from date after giving an opportunity of hearing and to allow the petitioner to produce necessary documents at the time

of hearing. The Regional Transport Authority, Howrah being the respondent no. 2 is also requested to communicate such decision at an earliest.

Learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner is also requested to serve a copy of this writ petition to the Regional Transport Authority, Howrah along with the order of this court positively within 7 (seven) days from today.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the writ petition. All the issues are left open to be decided by the respondent no. 2.

Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
