Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a counter case lodged at the behest of the family of the petitioner. The present police case is a counter blast. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the victim suffered gunshot injuries. He draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the petitioner is squarely implicated.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the nature of injuries, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
