Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. A large volume of illicit liquor was seized. Statements of witnesses show involvement of the petitioner in dealing in illicit liquor. Custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary for progress of investigation and may lead to further recoveries.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
