Petitioner submits she is no way connected with the affairs of 'M/s. B.B. Retail' which was run by the principal accused who is on regular bail. She contends she has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocates for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show de facto complainant and others had invested money in the aforesaid business. Thereafter, the money was misappropriated. Petitioner is not the principal accused. We are informed principal accused are on regular bail. 4.

Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation for progress of investigation is not necessary and petitioner may be granted anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Moumita Halder @ Moumita Haldar be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. She shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
