Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that there is a counter case with regard to the incident. The petitioner no. 1 also received injuries. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the injuries are out of gunshot. He refers to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the prayer for anticipatory bail of an accused in the counter case was also rejected on January 25, 2022 in CRM 8813 of 2021.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein and considering the fact that the injured received gunshot injuries, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. CRM (A) 1085 of 2022 is rejected (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
