The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Saheb Nagar Primary School, a school under Khejuri-II Block of the Purba Medinipur District Primary School Council.

The petitioner was arrested in connection with a criminal case initiated by his wife; in consequence, he was suspended from his service.

The petitioner is praying revocation of the said order of suspension and permission to join in the school.

The Chairman of the District Primary School Council, Purba Medinipur, the respondent no.4 herein during the pendency of the present writ petition has withdrawn the said order of

suspension and allowed the petitioner to resume his duty in the school vide Office Memorandum bearing No. 525/6/Law dated March 03, 2025.

In view of such development, no further order need be passed in the present writ petition. WPA 4885 of 2025 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
