1. Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition alleging unauthorized illegal construction being raised at JL no. 119, Mouza Bhbiringi LR plot no. 2260, Khatian no. 14757, Durgapur Paschim Bardhaman.

2. Petitioner submits that he is the next door neighbor and that illegal and unauthorized construction is being carried out by the private respondent nos. 6 and 7.

3. Learned counsel for the Durgapur municipal Corporation submits that they have conducted an inspection on 5th March 2025 and they found certain deviations in the above alleged unauthorized construction.

4. Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that they are carrying out the construction in accordance with the sanctioned plan.

5. At this stage learned counsel for Durgapur Municipal Corporation submits that they are

ready and willing to decide the petitioner's representation dated 10.1.2025.

6. In view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the Durgapur Municipal Corporation, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that his grievances will stand satisfied if his representation dated 10.1.2025 is decided in a time bound manner.

7. In view of the statements made by the learned counsels for the parties, this court directs the Durgapur Municipal Corporation to decide the petitioner's representation dated 10.1.2025 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the private respondents by way of speaking order.

8. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.

9. Since no affidavit is called for, allegations made in the petition is deemed to have been denied. (Gaurang Kanth, J.)
