Mr. Aniruddha Singh ...for the petitioner Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra Ms. Supriya Dubey ...for the WBCSSC The writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not satisfied with the steps taken by the concerned respondent authorities in connection with the selection process namely 1st State Level Selection Test 2016 (classes IX and X). Petitioner has prayed for recasting of panel which was prepared based on the aforesaid selection process.

However, the learned advocates representing the parties have jointly submitted that the entire selection process of 1st SLST 2016 (classes IX, X, XI and XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court at this stage no order can be passed on this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in pursuit of remedy as it has been ventilated by filing this writ petition, if situation so arises in future.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
