Let copy of this revisional application be served upon Mr. Imran Ali along with Ms. Debjani Sahu, learned Counsel, who are present in Court and ordinarily appear on behalf of the State. Their engagement may be regularised in due time by the competent authority. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was granted bail in this case on 29.8.2020. Thereafter, he was regularly attending court.

Due to miscommunication with the learned Advocate for the petitioner, the petitioner failed to appear on a couple of occasions and a warrant of arrest was issued against him on 19.3.2021. The petitioner wants to join the proceeding at the earliest.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the petitioner should surrender before the learned trial Court at the earliest. I have heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the State and perused the revisional application. It is the petitioner's case that after being granted bail, he attended the Court for sometime. At present, he wants to join the proceeding at the earliest.

In view of the above, I direct that the warrant of arrest against the petitioner shall remain stayed for the period of four weeks from date. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of four weeks. In the event the petitioner surrenders before the learned Trial Court within such time and prays for bail, his application for bail shall be considered in accordance with law. With the above observations, this revisional application is disposed of.
