The grievance of the petitioner is that, no rules for the selection process, prescribed taking of the interview. Since the police authorities took an interview in the selection process, the same vitiated the selection process.

Petitioner participated in a selection process where, petitioner undertook the written examination and appeared for the physical examination test. Petitioner also participated in the interview without any objection.

Nothing is placed before us to establish that, the petitioner was discriminated in the selection

process that is to say interview of other candidates were not taken.

The authorities, took the interview of the candidates participating in the selection process. Petitioner was not discriminated against. Petitioner participated without protest. Petitioner was not successful in the selection process.

In such circumstances, we find no merit in the present writ petition. WP.ST 32 of 2013 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
