This writ petition was preferred seeking a direction upon the respondents to allow the petitioner to appear in counselling which was a part of a selection process initiated to fill up the post of Assistant Teacher in the Social Science Group-History (Hons./Post Graduate) from Scheduled Caste candidate. Selection process was initiated in 2011. I am of the considered view that with the passage of time, the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous. Interim order passed earlier stands vacated.
