Petitioner is aggrieved by the factum of this application under Section 239 of the Code of Criminal Procedure not being disposed of which is pending for a considerable period of time. Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State.

The said case being Baranagar Police Station Case No.442 of 2018 is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barrackpore.

It has been submitted that the next date is fixed on 15th July, 2024.

The learned trial court would dispose of the said application on the said date so fixed or within a fortnight thereafter. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and all steps be taken so that the timeline so directed above is not

stretched further.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 675 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
