The application under Section 438 has been filed by the petitioners. The petitioner no. 1 is the husband and the petitioner no. 2 is the brother-in-law of the victim. FIR has been registered under Sections 498A/307/376/511 read with Section 34 of the IPC and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Having considered the statements under Section 164 CrPC and also the allegations in the complaint, as also the allegations against the petitioner no. 2 and also the fact that charge-sheet has not been filed, this court is not inclined to entertain the application for anticipatory bail. Hence, C.R.M. 1774 of 2021 stands dismissed.

No order as to costs.
