The petitioner viz. Sk Mamud was absent on 19.01.2024 without taking any step and the learned court was pleased to issue warrant of arrest against him. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that due to miscommunication, the petitioner was not aware regarding the date so fixed and undertakes that in future, he would be physically present until and unless the circumstances are beyond his control.

In view of the undertaking given by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, I direct that in case the petitioner surrenders before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hooghly by 15.03.2024, he would be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond. The petitioner shall till further orders meet with the Inspector-in-Charge, Balagarh Police Station or any officer deputed by him once a week. In case the petitioner fails to appear or surrender by 15.03.2024, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hooghly on 16.03.2024 would resort to harsher process of law and

issue process under Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 681 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
