Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondents are bent upon their illegal atrocities being inflicted upon the petitioner and to that extent, information has been furnished and cases have been registered by Karaya Police Station, but the private respondents have been pursuing their acts and actions in spite of criminal cases being registered. The grievance of the petitioner is relating to threat of her life and liberty and the repeated incidents happening at the behest of the private respondents.

State has submitted a report which reflects that three cases have been registered. The report is dated 07.03.2024 wherein it is reflected that the investigation is in progress.

The petitioner henceforth will lodge complain with the Deputy

Commissioner of Police in-charge of Karaya Police Station. The Deputy Commissioner of Police will supervise in respect of the accusations made and the petitioner's life and liberty not being at threat at the behest of any miscreants and/or the private respondents. In case any further complaint is received, the Deputy Commissioner of Police will depute an authorised officer of his choice for assessing the veracity of the accusations and then take steps in accordance with law against the persons who may be involved in the incidents complained of by the petitioner.

The police authorities would also keep a strict vigil and ensure that there is no breach of the peace or tranquility taking place and/or no other untoward incident resulting from the side of the private respondents or any other miscreants because of the petitioner having complained regarding unauthorised construction or any other illegal activity taking place at the locale.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 4103 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
