Mr. Ujjal Ray, ....for the petitioner Mr. Sutanu Kumar Patra, Ms. Supriya Dubey ..for the WBCSSC The petitioner's application for general transfer has been returned on the ground that the she is a single teacher in the aforesaid school. In view of the amendment effected on January 3, 2022 to the Transfer Rules of 2015, the petitioner's application cannot be returned on that ground.

In that view of the matter, the D.I. of Schools (Secondary Education), Paschim Medinipur, shall process the petitioner's application in consultation with the Commissioner of School Education, exploring the possibilities, for the petitioner's transfer indicated under the said Circular dated January 3, 2022, within six weeks from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
