The Secretary, Ministry of Electricity and Others Mr. B. Mitra .... For the Petitioner Ms. Sonal Sinha .... For the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the refusal of the respondent Distribution Company to provide the petitioner with a domestic electric connection at the subject premises.

The Distribution Company is represented and submits that the petitioner had not applied in accordance with law for fresh electricity connection and should apply in terms of procedure B of the WBSEDCL Norms.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, W.P.A. 4671 of 2021 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to apply in accordance with procedure B of the aforesaid Norms within a period of two weeks from date after complying with all prescribed formalities. I make it clear that if such an application is filed by the petitioner in accordance with law after

complying with all statutory obligations, the respondent Corporation will forthwith provide a domestic electricity connection at the premises of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, W.P.A.

4671 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
