1. Nobody appears on behalf of the appellant.

2. State is represented.

3. In pursuance of the direction passed by this Court, a report is submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Birbhum along with a report submitted by the Officer-in-Charge, Sadaipur Police Station, Birbhum indicating that during pendency of this appeal, the sole appellant/convict, namely, Sk. Goulson @ Sekh Gulsan had passed away on 16.09.2018 and a photocopy of certificate of death of the said appellant has been collected and tagged with the report which affirms the death of the said appellant.

4. As the sole appellant/convict has been expired during the pendency of this appeal, the instant appeal stands abated against him.

5. Accordingly, the instant appeal being CRA 101 of 1995 is hereby dismissed as abated.
