Learned counsel appearing for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited submits that no complete copy of the writ petition has yet been handed over by the petitioner, although the first such direction was passed on April 21, 2021.

Moreover, the copy of the substitution application appearing today has also not been served by the petitioner.

It is seen from the records that the petitioner is consistently unrepresented when the matter is appearing in the list and called on for hearing. It transpires, thus, that the petitioner is no longer interested to proceed with the matter any further.

Accordingly, IA No. C.A.N. 1 of 2022 is dismissed for default without, however, any order as to costs.

In view of dismissal of the substitution application, the writ petition, bearing W.P.A. No. 4693 of 2021, is also disposed of without any order as to costs.

Interim order, if any, stands automatically vacated.
