The WBSEDCL and another Mr. Bidyut Kr. Halder, Mr. Indranil Halder .... for the petitioner Mr. Kanak Kiran Bandyopadhyay .... for the WBSEDCL Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite the petitioner having applied for electricity connection to run his submersible pump, the WBSEDCL is not supplying the same.

Learned counsel for the WBSEDCL submits that the petitioner has not yet applied in proper format. Since the scope of the dispute is limited, WPA No. 4070 of 2023 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to apply in appropriate format by tomorrow (23.02.2023) for an electricity connection to operate his submersible pump and, upon the petitioner furnishing necessary documents, including the SWID certificate and compliance of other formalities, the WBSEDCL shall give such new

connection to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, positively within a week thereafter. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
