This writ petition has appeared in the list at the instance of the learned counsel for the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for correction of the order dated February 23, 2026. 2.

It is submitted on behalf of the Commission that the stand of the Commission is that reservation certificates issued after July 21, 2025 will not be considered as valid documents, except the continuing candidates where applications were made for grant of EWS certificate prior to July 21, 2025.

Accordingly, the following - except the continuing candidates where applications were made for grant of EWS certificate prior to July 21, 2025 - shall be added to the continuing sentence in paragraph 4 of the order dated February 23, 2026 and also after the figure 2025 in the third line of paragraph 5 of the said order.

Rest of the order dated February 23, 2026 shall remain unaltered.

This order shall be read along with the order dated February 23, 2026.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
