Affidavit-of-service filed in court today is taken on record. 2.

Petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking release of arrears of pension and for not receiving the complete retiral benefits from the respondent-Champdani Municipality. 3.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was working as a Compounder with the respondent-Municipality and had retired from service on July, 2006. Even though he was granted pension and other retiral benefits, he is still entitled to receive the arrears of pension and dearness allowance for 43 months. 4.

Learned Advocate for the respondent-Municipality submits that they are ready and willing to decide the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2024.

In view of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the respondent-Municipality, petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if his representation is decided in a time bound manner. 6.

Accordingly, this Court directs the respondentChampdani Municipality to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2024and pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order

after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

Petitioner is directed to provide the period for which he is claiming arrears at the time of hearing.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
