The Haridevpur Police Station has filed a report dated 04.05.2023, which is taken on record.

It appears from the report that there are twelve FIRs registered by three several Police Stations against the private respondents. The petitioner has also been named as accused in two several FIRs.

The petitioner is aggrieved that in respect of an FIR being Haridevpur P.S. Case No. 255 dated 14.09.2022, police have not seized the CCTV footage that would substantiate the allegations of the complaint of pelting of stones and fire crackers at the petitioner's house.

The Investigating Officer shall secure the CCTV footage and take appropriate steps in the investigation.

It is ordered that the investigation into the subject FIR be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from date.

The petitioner prays for security in view of the several further complaints against the private respondents.

The Officer-in-Charge, Haridevpur Police Station shall consider and assess the threat perception against the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

8.

The petitioner is willing to pay costs for security if deemed necessary by the Haridevpur Police Station.

9.

With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

10.

There shall be no order as to costs.

11.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
