The petitioner is a national of Kenya. Learned advocate also submits that the presently laws have been diluted of the sentence reduced, as such, benefits may be granted in favour of the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary.

Having regard to the same, I direct the learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the next date fixed. To that effect, the petitioner will cooperate with the learned trial court.

In case, the petitioner is found to be an offender, the learned trial court would impose minimum sentence and would ensure that the petitioner is deported at the earliest to the nation to which she belongs to.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 510 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
