The revisional application was preferred challenging the proceedings relating to Singur P. S. Case No. 171 dated 04.08.2020 under Sections 498A/323/504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned advocate for the opposite party nos. 3 and 4 submits that during the pendency of the revisional application, judgement has been delivered by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandernagore, Hooghly acquitting the accused/petitioner.

A report has also been submitted by the Officer-in-Charge, Singur Police Station, Hooghly(rural) wherein there is a declaration that the lady did not intend to continue with the proceedings against the present petitioner. Having regard to the same and the fact that judgement has already been delivered acquitting the accused person, I am of the opinion that the revisional application has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the present revisional application being CRR 409 of 2021 is dismissed as infructuous.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
