The present application has been preferred for relaxation of the condition of bail imposed by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Barasat in CMC No. 153/2023. I find that the petitioner was granted interim bail on 20.01.2023. The conditions are - not to leave the jurisdiction as well as to meet the Investigating Officer twice in a week or until charge-sheet is filed.

The said interim bail which was granted by the learned District and Sessions Judge was for a limited period of time. As such, the conditions so imposed should be considered by the same court.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Barasat for limited modification of the order relating to conditions as prayed for before this Court. The learned District and Sessions Judge, Barasat will within a week from filing consider the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the application being CRM (SB) 37 of 2023, is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
