Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears from the report and is also submitted by learned counsels for the parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue further shall only be a futile exercise.

The proceeding being GR Case No.1359 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, South 24 Parganas be quashed. The petitioners be set at liberty at once and be discharged from their bail bonds.

The revisional application being CRR 839 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
