Bani Israil ....for the petitioners Mr. Sudip Kumar ....for the State The victim claims that, she was driven out from her matrimonial home by the petitioners after she was assaulted and dowry demanded from her.

The incident of assault and demand for dowry stands corroborated by statements recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of neighbours, who intervened in one of the incident.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 776 of 2023 is dismissed.
