The main allegation of the petitioner relates to forgery having been done in respect of his signature(s).

According to the petitioner, cognizable offence is made out, yet the police authorities are not taking any action.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the petitioner was

arrested in connection with English Bazar P.S. Case No. 1431 of 2024. To that effect, notices were issued, subsequently, the police authorities were compelled to arrest the petitioner and, finally, on or about 09.12.2024, the Hon'ble High Court was pleased to release the petitioner on bail. After releasing, the petitioner filed the present complaint which, according to the police authorities, is for the purposes of circumventing the procedure of law and to build up his defence.

It has also been reflected in the report that another complaint was received by the police authorities on or about 05.03.2025 and a case being English Bazar P.S. Case No. 370 of 2025 dated 05.03.2025 has been registered against the petitioner.

Be that as it may, the grievance of the petitioner is that his complaint has not been acted upon.

In case, the police authorities are reluctant to act on such complaint, the petitioner will explore all possibilities by approaching the jurisdictional court for appropriate relief(s) as provided in the statute.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4134 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
