Mr Tapas Kumar Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners, submits that the petitioner no. 1, namely, Mobarak Sardar, is satisfied with the amount that he has received in terms of our order and that the other petitioners have received 50% of the amount payable to them.

There is no dispute with regard to the amount payable to the petitioners towards compensation. The petitioners no. 2, 3 and 4 have received 50% of their dues. However, the balance 50% could not be paid since the petitioners have not executed the necessary deeds.

We direct the petitioners no. 2, 3 and 4 to execute the necessary deeds as early as possible. The respondent authorities are directed to pay the balance compensation amount within three weeks from the date of execution of the necessary deeds.

The contempt application is, thus, disposed of without any order as to costs.
