It is submitted that the victim was major.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. Learned lawyer for the de facto complainant also opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows that she was forcibly raped by the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and nature of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
