Affidavit of service is taken on record.

The police authorities have submitted a report and the same is taken on record. The police report indicates that pursuant to the complaint filed by the petitioner, Behala Police Station Case No.105 dated April 15, 2022 under Section 341/323/505 of the Indian Penal Code against Smt. Suchitra Mitra, the respondent No.8, has been registered and the investigation is under progress.

According to the police authorities, there is a long standing dispute between the petitioner and the daughter-inlaw. However, as the police authorities have already initiated an investigation, the same shall be concluded in a free and fair

manner. Let such investigation be reached to its logical conclusion within three month from date.

The police authorities have already indicated that strict vigil will be maintained. Thus, the police authorities are further directed to ensure that the parties do not create further law and order problem.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
