The said two alleged contemnors shall file affidavit separately in answer to the Rule within three weeks from date. Reply, thereto within two weeks thereafter.

On the basis of an undertaking (recorded in separate sheet) given today by the said two alleged contemnors that they shall file affidavit separately in answer to the Rule within three weeks from date and they shall be present in court as and when required, the personal appearance of the said alleged contemnors is dispensed with for the time being.

Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnors submits that Sri Mahavir Singh, Chief Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, Fairlie Place, Kolkata, the contemnor no. 3 herein, has retired from service. We have perused the report

of the Deputy Registrar (Writ) dated 6th April, 2022 in this regard.

Leave is granted to the learned advocate on record for the petitioners to insert the name of the present incumbent, namely Zarina Firdausi, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, Sealdah as contemnor no. 3 in the contempt application in place of previous contemnor no. 3 (retired from service).

In view of personal appearance of the alleged contemnor nos. 1 and 2 today, the personal appearance of the present incumbent, as contemnor no. 3, is dispensed with for the time being.

Let the matter appear in the list on 17th June, 2022.
