A letter has been filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that they do not want to proceed with this case any further and the matter may be dismissed for non-prosecution.

The present revisional application was against a part of the judgment dated 14.1.2020 passed by the learned Special Judge, Electricity Act, Krishnagr, Nadia directing the initiation of proceedings under section 344 of the Cr.P.C.

As there is no representation on behalf of the State in this case, Ms. Puspita Saha, learned advocate present in Court is appointed to represent the State. Let her appointment be regularized by the learned Public Prosecutor, High Court, Calcutta.

Considering the nature of the case and the prayer made by the petitioner revisionist himself, the criminal revision is hereby dismissed for non-prosecution. Let a copy of this order be sent to the trial court for information and the learned counsel for the State is directed to inform the concerned authority about the disposal of this case.
