On perusal of the application, it appears that the petitioner has prayed for cancellation of bail of Devi Prasad Shukla, Smt. Mangala Shukla and Khusboo Shukla granted in their favour on 27.1.2010.

Heard learned counsel for the State. The record reveals that affidavit-of-service upon the opposite party members has not been filed. None appears for the petitioner. Upon consideration I find no illegality, irregularity or impropriety in the impugned order passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge. Furthermore, the prayer for cancellation of the bail has lost its force and essence with passage of time. The petition for criminal revision is, therefore, dismissed on its merit.

Let a copy of this order be transmitted to the Court of Learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Sessions Court at Calcutta for information.
