Shukla Mr. P.C.Pandey ....for the respondents no. 1 & 2 The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the refusal of the respondent authorities to shift the high tension electricity connection on the premises belonging to the petitioner.

The WBSEDCL is represented and submits that they are ready and willing to effect the necessary shifting from the premises of the petitioner but the private respondent and locals have created an obstruction, hindrances when the personnel of the respondent authorities.

In view of the fact that the respondent authorities are ready and willing to carry out the shifting I am of the view that the Officer-in-Charge, Diamond Harbour Police Station, South 24-Parganas is directed to provide necessary police assistance upon payment of necessary cost by the petitioner to the respondent authorities in carrying out such shifting from the premises of the petitioner.

It is expected that the entire exercise will be completed within four weeks from the date upon compliance with all statutory formalities by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions WPA No. 4758 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. (Ravi Krishan Kapur,J)
