The petitioner made a representation before the Chairman of the Panskura Municipality which was received by the Municipality on 7th July, 2020. The petitioner claims that the Municipality forwarded her prayer to the Director of Local Bodies for consideration. Thereafter the petitioner has not been intimated anything about the fate of her representation. It appears from the cause title of the writ petition that the Director of Local Bodies has not been impleaded as party respondent in the present writ application. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to apply before the appropriate authority for consideration of her prayer along with all documents in support of her claim.

In the event, such representation is made, the concerned authority shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
