Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The petitioner complains that his son has been missing and in spite of informing the Inspector-in-Charge, Chinsurah Police Station, no steps were taken by the concerned police station for recovery of the minor son.

State has submitted a report which reflects that so far as the issue relating to the minor son is concerned, the minor son is residing with the mother. There is a matrimonial dispute already existing between the petitioner and the respondent no.5 herein.

Having considered that the police authorities have already accepted a written communication from the respondent no.5 in respect of the son being available with her, I am of the opinion that

the petitioner would seek legal remedies in accordance with law.

So far as the police authorities are concerned, they have adhered to the provisions of law and completed the necessary findings after due deliberation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 4155 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
