Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in excess of three years six months.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the trial is in progress. The evidences are being recorded. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that the trial is in progress, we are of the view that the petitioner should not be enlarged on bail at this crucial stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (DB) 635 of 2022 is dismissed.
