Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

At the time of call learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner FIR has been registered by the concerned police station. However, petitioner prays for direction upon the police authorities to expedite the investigation.

State respondents are represented by learned advocate who has submitted that taking note of the complaint made by the petitioner, criminal prosecution being Bhowanipore P.S. Case No.58 of 2026 dated 1st March, 2026 was initiated.

In view of aforesaid situation, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of.

However, concerned police authority is directed to expedite the investigation.
