1. The petitioner is aggrieved by non-consideration by West Bengal Board of Primary Education of his candidature in the selection process of Assistant Teachers for the year 2022.

2. In the online application, the petitioner declared that he obtained 60.83% marks having scored 365 out of 600 marks against the column "Higher Secondary" by relying upon a certificate issued by the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training. In the online form, the petitioner had indicated the marks obtained by him according to his certificate issued by the West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education.

3. At the time of scrutiny the Board, however, found that the petitioner secured much less percentage in his Higher Secondary qualification which he undertook

in the year 2006. The petitioner has, therefore, made an incorrect declaration in his online application. The same does not match with the documents produced at the time of scrutiny. The broad-sheet signed by the petitioner at the time of scrutiny is produced by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

4. In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the writ petitioner in this writ petition.

5. The instant writ petition is dismissed.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
