1. Mr. Kankani, learned Advocate representing the respondent No.2, The Registrar of Companies submits that challenging the inaction in deactivating the petitioner's Director Identification Number (for short, DIN) for a period commencing from 1st November, 2018 to 31st October, 2023, the present writ petition has been preferred. Therefore, the order by which the DIN was deactivated has lost its force with the passage of time.

2. In view thereof, the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, however, without any order as to costs.
